How to Become Go-to-Guy at Work

Do you think your career is in the leak? When was the last time that you got promotions or increased? At that time, huh? The best way is that you can become a "go-to-man" at work to get your career on the right track.

What does the boy do? You have seen these people before they are those that your boss and all your colleagues have searched or searched for advice. 

These people have made themselves indispensable at work, so they can take advantage of their benefits in negotiations for increased or promotion.

There is no secret to the person going to work. You do not have to be funny or charismatic. It just takes some good obsession and hard work.

Be man at work

Volunteer for extra work whenever an opportunity arises for more opportunity, take it and do it well, your boss will start watching and you will gain his confidence.

Sure, this would be more work, but if you really want to rock your career, then you have to sacrifice. 

Talk to many colleagues as you can do every day, make a goal each day to talk to at least 10 associates each day.

If you have less than 10, then talk to them all if you want to become a person, people should know that you are present at work. This can not happen, if you are trapped in your room throughout the day.

Break your entire day to shoot air with your colleagues. Of course you do not want to interrupt them, so to find moments when they are free to talk, it's perfect for talking with your colleagues during lunch, talk anything with them. Work, family, sports is the idea that you want to get yourself out of there so that people can know you.

Start a blog on your industry Blog is a great tool to market yourself at work, link to the news clip affecting your industry and add your personal comment on it. It shows your boss and colleagues with two things.

 1) You are informing. The informed employees are the property for their companies

2) You are thinking about the issues facing your industry in an important way. Your comment will show to your boss that you are taking the initiative to deal with issues affecting your company .  It is always effective

Join Committees Your company has many opportunities to go to one of the committees to go to one, even if it is a committee which is planning a company picnic. 

The work of the committee is an opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and there is an opportunity to make new contacts for you.

If your boss sees that you can run a terrible picnic, then you put seeds in your head that you can run your department.

Just do it, damn it Like all the advice given on this site, the overwritten principle is that you need to do something today, just go to work and do anything to work on it.
